I know, it's been forever, but I've been pretty busy! I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm having a c-section on Monday, August 28! I have to be at the hospital at 6 am, but it will probably be about 9 am before they actually do the section. Oh, and it is going to be at Bradley County Medical Center in Warren. We have to have a section because Cayson is a biiiiiiiigggggggggg boy! 9 pounds 1 ounce according to our last ultrasound!

Well, I know all of you have been waiting with bated breath for this announcement...LOL! We went to the doc this weekend and it is definitely a boy! Everything looks pretty good, except I'm measuring a little big. Like 3 weeks too big! They did a glucose screening test to make sure I don't have gestastional diabetes, which I don't, so Doc just said it will probably be a big baby. But we will monitor him closely. As soon as I can I will try and post the ultrasound pics. Oh, and his name is going to be...

Well, this has been a pretty eventless weekend so far. I really don't know why I'm posting because I really have nothing to say. I guess I'm bored. Last night I tried a new recipe. I got it off of the Food Network, so I felt like a gourmet chef! It was really good and easy too. But the downside is I accidentally broke one of my dishes. Not just any dish--one of my heavy-cute-I got it for our wedding-type dishes. I was really upset. Also, I had a minor little something related to my pregnancy happen. I will spare the details, but I was really scared at first, but it hasn't happened anymore and my mom made me lay down and elevate my feet. So that's why I'm having an eventless weekend. I think we are going to go to Fort Smith in a little while and look at baby stuff. Well, I guess that's it. Pray that I don't have any more pregnancy episodes that aren't supposed to happen!

Casting Crowns

I went to a Casting Crowns concert Monday night. It was awesome!!! It was Josh Bates, Nichole Nordeman, and Casting Crowns. Also, they had a speaker, Tony Nolan. This was different from other concerts I'd been to, but it was awesome because several hundred people made decisions. They said that since the beginning of the tour, which was September or August, there have been over 40,000 decisions made. How awesome is that??!! And the cool part is they don't just "save 'em and leave 'em". They get their information and disperse it among local churches so they can follow up. Also, Tony Nolan and Mark Hall wrote a 7 day guide for new believers that they can download from Tony Nolan's website.

Another thing that was cool about the concert was...TADA...we got front row seats! And we got to go backstage before the concert! Shaun and I went to the concert with Derenda, our children's director, and Mirand, her sister. Miranda was eating lunch Monday at a local restaurant and just happened to run into the Casting Crowns road crew. So she just goes up to them and asks them if that's who they were. They said, "Sure. Do you want to go backstage?" So we did! It was really awesome to see how humble everyone was. They really have something they could be proud of, but they are very humble about it. Just normal people like you and me. Dean, one of the road crew guys that Miranda made friends with, was very nice and took pictures for us. We decided to be funny and we got Mark Hall to take a picture of us with Dean! They all got a kick out of that! (For those of you who don't know, Mark Hall is the lead singer of Casting Crowns and he's also a youth minister.) We had several more funny incidents, but I guess they were more "you had to be there" type things.

Sorry it's been so long. I've been really busy. Things are going pretty good. I have some pretty big news, but I can't disclose it at this time. Don't you love that? When someone teases you with a secret then they don't tell you? Oh well, you'll just have to wait. I feel the baby kicking a lot now. It is the most incredible feeling. I can't wait for Shaun to be able to feel it too. Time is passing so fast now. I am already a week past the halfway point. He/She will be here before I know it!

Hey guys. Sorry it's been so long. I've been pretty busy. I started my new job. I really like it! It is tiring, but those kids are so sweet. I have the toddler class...which is mostly boys!!! They are really cute though. Also, it's been busy getting ready for Easter. Our church did a big push for Easter to be an evangelical Sunday. We had lots of visitors. We usually run anywhere from 160-180 on Sundays and I bet we had at least 250. And that's not counting children. There were about 50 kids there. I was nervous about Sunday, however, because I had to sing. I've never sung on Easter Sunday morning before. Not a solo anyway. Plus, I sang "We Shall Behold Him" which is the highest song I've ever sung. I think it went well though. Or so I was told. I'm always myself's worst critic. I just tried to forget about the crowd and the difficulty of the song and just worship. I think that's all of the Sandi Patti songs I'm going to attempt for a while, though. They are just so hard and so high! And the bigger I get with the baby, the harder it is for me to support those high notes. I do have to sing at our Mother's Day breakfast, though. If anyone knows of a great Mother's Day song, or at least one that would be appropriate, please let me know. Oh, also yesterday we went to Shaun's parents' after church. It was nice to get to spend a Sunday afternoon with them. We didn't have services last night, so we went to church with them too. Afterwards, we ended up going over to Bro. Edgar's (their pastor for those who don't know) so Shaun and his dad could work on Bro. Edgar's computer. Yeah, we stayed there until 10:00. I was sooooo tired when we got home. But it was a beautiful and wonderful day. I hope everyone's Easter went as well. Well, I guess that's it for now. Hope everyone has a great day tomorrow!

Howdy. I'm just killing a little time while Shaun finishes getting ready. We're going to eat out tonight. I was craving a big thick juicy steak and we hadn't had one in a while. I'm so excited. lol. Um, let's see...we didn't do too much today. Shaun worked on the office today, unpacking some more. I gave Batgirl a much needed bath. We both (well I guess all 3 of us) fell asleep on the couch while watching Top Gun. And now we're about to go to town (Fort Smith). Tomorrow after church our Sunday school class is having a picnic and playing volleyball! I'm super excited. Except I can't play, but I will still have a great time, I'm sure. Well I guess that's it for now. Oh, has anybody checked out the new profile feature on here? I was bored the other day and found out that they'd upgraded it. It's kinda cool. Reminds me of facebook and myspace. Y'all have a great day tomorrow!
